[*]Design electro-mechanical assemblies for home appliances and other products
[*]Design injection molded parts, sheet metal stampings, aluminum die castings, cold headed parts, powder metal parts, small gears, screw machine parts, solenoid coils, electrical contacts, electrical connectors, and other component types
[*]Use SolidWorks 3D CAD software to create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings
[*]Perform tolerance studies for assemblies and apply GD&T to drawings
[*]Use SolidWorks analytical tools to predict soundness of designs
[*]Create Gantt charts for assigned projects
[*]Use project management tools to manage and document the design process
[*]Work in a team environment to review designs with colleagues and to glean ideas for design improvements
[*]Collaborate with engineering colleagues in China to effectively communicate design intent and to adapt designs to current and future manufacturing capabilities
[*]Perform DOE (design of experiments) for problem solving
[*]Perform FMEA (failure mode and effects analysis) for designs
[*]Hands-on participation in prototype assembly and evaluation
[*]Competitive product evaluations including analysis, testing, and cost estimating
[*]Design test fixtures and test setups
[*]Work with compliance agencies, such as UL, for component approvals
[*]Assist lab technicians with data compiling and reporting
[*]Provide technical support to sales and other areas of the business
[*]Compile costs and assist in the internal quoting process
[*]Work closely with customer’s engineers to ensure the project acceptance criteria / specifications are defined and clearly understood.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
[*]Must have a four-year BSME or BSMET or Mechatronics degree from an accredited university or institution; or equivalent experience in product development
[*]Must have 3-8 years’ experience developing electro-mechanical components or products
[*]Must be a proven self-starter with intuition for what needs to be done
[*]Must have good understanding of metal and plastic materials and their applications
[*]Must have a strong mechanical aptitude

米国好像正在规划船气外输的一些项目，那个，也许更有前途， 第一个招聘工作职责写的好细：

难怪第二个看上去和国内招聘要求挺像，强调经验。 这钱是到手的，还是没扣税的？ 由于sales 方面的职位...... 好多看不懂，尴尬了。好歹当年也是一次过46的 用的是design，不是to design也不是动名词，学习了
