10月14日，DPS Software has introduced a newly developed SWOOD module for beam constructions. In addition, SWOOD Design and SWOOD CAM have been updated.

Brand new on the market is the module BW Modul (Beam & Wall). It can directly export data files for joinery equipment - such as BVX and BTL files. The module also recognizes common wood connections and outputs them in the appropriate format and with the appropriate macros to the appropriate system. The program is aimed particularly at manufacturers of small wooden houses, wooden roofs, carports and wooden playground equipment.

The new SWOOD generation has a new user-friendly 4K-enabled user interface. The fact that, for example, all icons can be displayed in different sizes creates scope for individual work on monitors of different sizes. Furthermore, the user interface of each user can be customized specifically to his wishes with the frequently used commands and functions.
